Sew for Hope in June

Good Day,
We’ll be at ARTS After School on Saturdays June 1 & 15 from 10 – 3 with brown bag lunch from 11:30 – 12:30.
Please join us as we organize fabric, design quilts, figure out what to do with donated quilt blocks, cut, press, sew, visit, laugh, and eat.
We received a large donation of flannel that needs laundering, so we’ll need a volunteer to pick that up.
We always have fun working together, but we do have quilt and blanket project kits that stitchers can pick up to work on at home — for solitary stitchers. Volunteers may also choose fabric from our stash or their own and make simple 12 1/2″ log cabin blocks, or simple 9-patch eye-spy novelty blocks. If you like to experiment and learn, you can also try a quilt block or project that’s new to you. We don’t expect perfection. The children who receive your quilts aren’t going to examine your perfect points. They’re going to love the fabric and coziness.
That’s all for now.
Thanks for all you do,
Cynthia and the Sew for Hope Sisters
