Hello Dear Friends,
We had our first Saturday meeting in June. We apologize for being tardy with our reminder and thank the volunteers who showed up anyway. We always meet first and third Saturdays (except November and December when we meet the first Saturday only).
Our next meeting will be June 17th from 10:00 to 2:00. We’ll have brown bag lunch with show and tell around 11:30.
Hope Community needs medium size quilts now and they always need long twin size quilts.

We’d appreciate a volunteer heading up the PAEC blanket project. The Team Leader will organize a few people to pull fabric from our supply, cut that to size, and make kits. Those are taken by ladies who sew them up. Every year we make 61 simple coverlets in three sizes. We work on this project throughout the year with the next deadline being 5/18/24. The Team Leader will keep track of our progress. Next year, when all blankets are completed, they’ll contact PAEC regarding pick up or delivery. Let me know if you are interested.
We’re sewing from the heart and there’s no competition. We’re sewing for children in need. All the quilts and coverlets our volunteers make are loved by the kids who get to choose them. Well, I guess that’s enough for now.
