Hello Dear Friends,

Thank you for your time and support. Our Saturday meetings in February will be the 4th and 18th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. We have brown bag lunch with Show and Tell from 11:30 to 12:30. We always meet at St. Stephen Lutheran Church located at 2198 N Meridian Rd.

Jeanne has been diligently cutting strips for a group project. I can’t remember the name of the block, but it’ll be easy to stitch and assemble. For those who are interested or have finished their last project, you can jump in anytime now. Bring your portable sewing machine.

We’ve been working on the 2023 PAEC nap-time coverlets and blankets. We work on them all year so we don’t have panic sewing at the last minute. This is the only commitment where we have a deadline and this year it’s Saturday, May 20th. That’s our second May meeting.

Sew for Hope COVID Guidelines:

* We ask that you not attend S4H unless you have had your COVID shots and at least one booster shot.

* We also ask that you stay home when feeling sick and that you avoid coming to our meeting if, in the last 4 days, you have been exposed to a large number of people, such as a concert or a large family get-together.

* Leon County is rated medium risk by the CDC and has a 17.5% COVID positivity rate. Masks are optional but recommended if you are at greater risk.

* We want to keep sewing together and not have to shut down because of COVID. Your help is needed.
