Hello Sewing Sisters
It’s nearly February! In this month of love we will meet on Feb 3rd and Feb 17th from 10 – 2 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church located at 2198 N. Meridian Road.
Every month we have projects for everyone. We have some lovely donated batiks begging to be made into quilts for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Others will continue working on their scrappy quilts using the abundance of scrap fabric we have. There are also a LOT of cut squares that would love to be put together in whatever way you imagine. We also have ideas and examples if you like, or feel free to continue your own project.
The work on nap time coverlets for PAEC is also continuing. Have 50” lengths of flannel in your stash that you’d like to donate? We could use some for this project.
We had the pleasure to welcome a couple of new people last month who promise to return. Yay! You won’t find a more welcoming group of people joined by their love for quilting and each other, so bring a friend.
